Ordnance Survey Mapping and Data

Historic England is licenced through the Public Sector Mapping Agreement for the use of Ordnance Survey mapping and data to provide context for its own business data and information.

You are granted a non-exclusive, royalty free, revocable licence solely to view the Licensed Data for non-commercial purposes for the period during which Historic England makes it available. You are not permitted to copy, sub-license, distribute, sell or otherwise make available the Licensed Data to third parties in any form. Third party rights to enforce the terms of this licence shall be reserved to OS.

User-submitted content

By sending any text, images, audio, video or other content to this website you grant to Historic England a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and use that content (or any part of it, and as that content may be edited, cropped or otherwise modified by Historic England, at Historic England's discretion) on this website, and on or in other Historic England websites and publications, in any media and at any time.
