Description

An album predominately featuring the images of two Roman Catholic Churches in Sunderland and Gateshead during the 1940s and 1950s. Demonstrating the work of the Reavell and Cahill architectural practice, with 21 images credited to Phillipson Studios of Newcastle upon Tyne. The reverse of these album pages contain a stamp of the Philipson Studios and a unique image reference code, presumably specific to that companies records. The spine of the album is labelled "Churches" and comprises 26 images, 24 black and white and 2 colour.

The album also contains 8 duplicates of images found in album RAC01/01/02.
