A series of 504 items, predominantly photographic prints, showing various sites across the geographical county of Gloucestershire. Some of the locations depicted in the series include: Gloucester Cathedral, Tewkesbury Abbey, Cheltenham Ladies College, the Pittville Pump Room and grounds, Lechlade, Cirencester, Lasborough Park, Berkeley Castle, Bishop’s Cleeve, Chipping Campden, Owlpen, Stanton and Stanway House. There are also a large number of parish churches included in the series.
Additionally, there are a very small number of prints showing sites from outside Gloucestershire which are mounted with other photographs. They show Leeds Castle in Kent and Brookside in Bournemouth.
The formats include albumen prints, carbon prints, gelatine prints, photographic and halftone postcards, platinum prints and one cutting from a magazine or periodical.
