Description
The collection contains 623 files relating to linear features recorded on Ordnance Survey maps. The files were compiled by the Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division before 1999. The files have reference numbers with 'LIN' as a prefix and files relating to Roman Roads have an 'RR' prefix.
Copies of selection of RCHME files on linear features. All files contain extant map and strip maps; some contain notes and AP photocopies.
A handlist is available.
Archival History
The collection was acquired by the NMR in 2006.
