Description

As first proposed by the Architectural Investigation team in 2001, the Religion and Place project was to be an exemplary study of places of religious observance of all faiths, illustrated by targeted research in Liverpool, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Leeds and Coventry. In each town, a rapid survey of religious buildings was to be complemented by the more detailed study of key buildings, augmented by archival and documentary research as appropriate.

As of 2007 only photography had been received.

In 2012 some negatives of the Tower Hamlets recording were archived.
