The plans show the floor joists and beams of the two rooms on each floor, the rooms are shown side by side but the connecting passages are not shown (their floors are not wooden). Various measurements and notes are given.
There is a section through all the floors and two lengthwise sections through the left hand floor at each level both at the same scale as the plans (1/4" to 1ft) and on lines indicated on the plans. They also have measurements and annotations. To the right of these are three detailed views showing repairs to be made to sections of the floors. These are extensively annotated with details of the renovation materials and techniques to be used. The locations of the sections are again indicated on the plans. They are at scale 1/2" to 1ft.
The survey was carried out in November 1961, but the plan was not drawn till 2nd January 1962, the main date is given as December 1961. The plan is by the Structural Engineering section of the Ministry of Works. There is a later note in pen, indicating the intention to carry out the repairs shown in 1962.
