POWICK CP A 449 SO 85 SW 3/93 The Terrace 25.3.68 GV II House. Mid-C18 and early C19. Brick in Flemish bond with stone dressings and tile roof. Two storeys with attic. South facade of five bays, with sixth bay set back at right. Three middle bays project forwards under a pediment.

Windows sashed with glazing bars and gauged brick heads. Ground floor windows of projecting centre recessed within round arches which have stone impost blocks.

Within the pediment is a lunette window. To each side of the door are panelled pilasters supporting a cornice, and glazed openings. Above is a fanlight. The open brick porch has round arches on three sides, a frieze with paterae, and corner urns. Chimneys to left and right of third bay, and towards rear. The west wall has a single-storey bow window. A curved verandah is supported on trelliswork renewed in the C20. The north facade appears to be mid-C18 and is of five bays. It has two stone bands, boxed sashes with glazing bars, and gauged brick heads with keystones. Interior: stair has stick balusters and wreathed handrail.
