LOPPINGTON C.P. LOPPINGTON SJ 4629-4729 15/36 Holly Cottage (at - south end of village) - II Cottage. C16 with later additions and alterations. Cruck framed with later small square panels and painted brick infill; machine tile roof.

Single-cell plan with later brick outshut. One storey and gable-lit attic. Framing: 2 square panels above high brick plinth; true cruck trusses with straight collars exposed to gable ends. One C20 casement to front. Boarded door to far left with integral red brick end stack directly above. Apexes of crucks destroyed. Interior: not inspected but noted as having heavy chamfered spine beam and joists to ground- floor room. C20 flat-roofed extension to left is not of special architectural interest. Alcock, p.144.
