2 house, now offices. c1834-50. Stucco over brick with brick stacks and iron railings and balcony. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys (on basement at centre), 8 first-floor windows (arranged 1:6:1), with single storey, single bay range at right. End bays are set back. Stucco detailing to main range includes: plinth, full-height pilasters with sunk panels to ends and party-wall, first- and second-floor bands; crowning entablature. 6/6 sashes throughout, all in plain reveals and with sills, those to first floor in tooled architraves, those to ground floor have incised, elliptically-arched Greek key surrounds. Basement has 3/3 sashes with margin-lights. Entrances to outer bays: steps to part-glazed 4-panel and 6-panel doors with overlights, set back behind 2 Doric pillars with entablature which support overhang. Right return has 3 round-arched sashes, otherwise 6/6 sashes.
INTERIOR: retains original joinery and plasterwork, including 2 staircases with stick balusters with wreathed handrails. Otherwise not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: continuous first-floor balcony has Carron Company double-heart-and-anthemion motif balustrade.
