SX 48 SW MARYSTOW SYDENHAM
6/191 Sydenham Bridge - GV II
Road bridge across the River Lyd. Probably on C18 rebuilding of an earlier structure. Stone rubble with dressed stone arches. 2-span bridge with parapets and 1 tall cutwater, the westernmost arch appears to be slightly skewed. Elliptical, slightly recessed ring arches. The road over the bridge is the approach to the west front of Sydenham House (qv).
