House. Late C17, C19, C20. Timber-framed and weatherboarded, peg tile roof. Rectangular plan, gable end stacks rear ground floor outshut, C19 dairy outshut to E. C20 rebuilt stack to rear with adjacent C20 out-shut door porch. EXTERIOR: 2 storey. Front, SE elevation, 2 window range, central doorway with C20 door having upper glazing with glazing bars, 2x2 panes and lower fielded panels. C20 gabled porch, peg-tiled and on simple posts. windows all sashes, ground floor C20, first floor C19 with moulded architraves. Rear NW elevation deep `catslide' roof to out-shut with simple C20 casement window to NE end. 2-light casement window and vent in dairy. To SW, C20 brick projection with small stack adjacent door porch under catslide extension. C20 door with upper glazing with glazing bars, 2x3 panes, 3 lower sunk panels. SE elevation, internal central stack. To rear, C20 ground floor 2-light casement window with glazing bars, each light 2x3 panes. First floor, C19 sash window with moulded architrave. NE elevation. Central stack external with slated dairy lean-to roof to rear, almost reaching ground level (dairy semi-underground). Above, on first floor, C20 single light casement window with glazing bars, 2x2 panes. INTERIOR: simple framing, primary braced, considerable use of elm in frame and floor joists. Central passage and rear stair plan - 2 cells. Fireplace to SW end apparently original with segmental arched head. Stack at NE end probably secondary.
