NORWOOD HILL ROAD 1.

5387 (west side) Chantesluer TQ 24 SW 1/25 II GV 2. Late C15 or early C16 jettied parlour wing of an open hall-house hidden beneath a Victorian exterior. Two storeys. Ground floor painted brick. First floor hung with curved tiles. Tiled roof. Three casement windows to front elevation and verandah.

Outside chimneystack with diagonal stacks. The open hall has been floored over and a large ingle nook hearth inserted. Moulded beam over hearth and moulded door head to solar. The stairs have Jacobean flat fretted bannisters and newel post.
