WESTCOTE NETHER WESTCOTE SP 22 SW 2/263 The Hobbits GV II House (probably formerly 2 cottages). C18. Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Artificial stone slate roof with ashlar stack and C20 stone stack. Rectangular main body extended by one bay to the right and with cottage attached at an angle to the main body, left. Main body; 2 storeys, 3-windowed facade with two 2-light stone-mullioned casements to the ground floor, two similar windows and a 2-light metal casement to the upper floor. All windows with leaded panes. C20 part-glazed door at centre within a C20 gabled open-sided porch and C20 part-glazed door to the right-hand bay.
Cottage set at left; 1 1/2 storeys with two C20 two-light casements to the ground floor and two gabled half dormers to the first floor.
All windows with leaded panes. Similar fenestration and C20 porch with a hipped roof at the rear. Interiors not inspected.
