Shops with flats over. C16. Timber-framed and rendered with gabled plain tile roofs. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. 1st floor has some ashlar rendering and sash windows with moulded surrounds, that to left with one vertical glazing bar, that to the centre with margin glazing and that to right is tripartite with plate glass. The ground floor has 3 shop fronts under a continuous canted-out fascia with small consoles and blindbox. That to left is C20 with recessed entrance, that to centre is C19 with deep angled corner mullions, original door with fanlight and raised-and-fielded lower panel; that to right, No.106, has C20 door with fanlight and 3-light plate-glass window. Ridgeline stack at south-east end. To the rear is a formerly separate C19 outhouse range now linked to front by large concealed flat roof. This is of two 2-storey parts, the taller of which has a Welsh slate roof hipped to north-west and gabled to south-east with tall stack.

The lower block has machine-made plain tile roof. The taller block has sash windows with margin glazing. To the rear of this are 2 superimposed lean-to roofs, one with Welsh slate and one with plain tiles. No.106 has 2-storey rendered C18 rear extension with gabled plain tile roof. INTERIOR: a timber-framed house of the early C16 of 2 short and one longer bay, probably jettied towards the street. The 2 short bays formed rooms at 1st-floor levels with connecting doors in the centre of their partitions. Remains of crown-post roof survive with thin longitudinal bracing. North-western rooms have shutter groove in front wall plate for window. The 2 end rooms have central spine beams in their 1st floors and framing of wider bay has trimmed gap in spine beam for stairs or chimney stack. Posts are jowled. The rear wall of Bloomfields has later stack with late C18 fireplace with moulded shelf and shouldered architrave and C19 cast-iron Gothic grate with shafts and 4-centred enclosing arch.
