- II Cottage. C17 or earlier, and C18. Flint, limestone and greensand, thatched roof.
Rear block has banded flint and limestone, brick quoins and tiled roof. Single storey and attic. Front block is of 1 bays comprising a living room with stack in half bay, now a party wall. Boarded door with glazed panel. Paned timber windows, the ground floor with cambered brick arches and flush dormer over. Left gable end has a 2-light stone-mullioned window. Roof hipped to left. To rear, a 1-bay block of 1752 projecting beyond left gable of front block. Half glazed door and canted bay window to its south gable. Roof half hipped. Cob stair extension. Interior: Front block may have central cruck truss, the reverse assembly of tie and wall plate visible externally. Stair at side of stack with blocked fireplace.
