3/3 Grange Farmhouse 10.9.54 GV II

Farmhouse. Mid C18 with C19 and C20 alterations and C17 origins. Squared sandstone rubble, stone dressings, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Left of centre entrance has chamfered surround and Tudor arched lintel; c1970 plank door. Left- hand bay has a C17 3-light chamfered window with cavetto mullions per storey, left- hand jamb of ground floor window is c1970, 5-pane casements. 2 right-hand bays have 2 mid C18 recessed flat-faced mullioned windows per storey, 6-pane casements and fixed lights. Eaves modillions. Gable end and right of centre ridge stacks.

Rear contains C18 staircase window, 2-light with flat faced mullion and transom opposite front entrance. Left-hand late C18/early C19 extension of 2 storeys, 1 bay. Interior not accessible.
