Former inn, now a range of shops. Late C16. Timber-framed with plain tiled roof. 3 storeys, 3-window range. Framed in close studding with middle rail and ogee tension bracing. Inserted shop front in centre of ground floor with 4-centred arched doors each side. 2 windows to left. Upper windows are 24-pane sashes to left, and 2 wood mullioned and transomed oriel windows with leaded lights to the right. Third floor has long band of 7 lights to left with 3 mullioned and transomed lights flanked by lower leaded casements. Two 5-light mullioned and transomed windows to the right. 2 gabled attic dormers with cambered ties and enriched barge-boards with finials. Side and rear wall stacks.
