Cottage. Cl7 altered C18. Timber-frame with brick infill rebuilding and additions, thatched roof. End onto road 2 bay C17 cottage, with taller C18 bay added to road end and outshot to far end. Road end has pair of C19 4-pane casements, and over C18 2-light casement. S side has C20 door at road end of C17 part under thatched hood on posts. In road bay tall 2-light casement in other bays C19 3-light casement with similar over, under eaves, and in far bay 2-light casement. Above end bays 2-light casement in eyebrow dormer. Roof has higher ridge to road end bay, ridge piece, and is half-hipped at road end and swept-down at far end. Ridge stack where ridge rises and stack on road end behind ridge. Forms pair with No 2 separated by lawn and facing churchyard.
