WETHERINGSETT-CUM-BROCKFORD WETHERUP STREET TM 16 SW 5/137 Barn immediately south - west of Elm Farmhouse

GV II Barn. C17, probably in more than one phase. Timber framed and rendered, roof clad in corrugated metal sheeting. Cart doors to east. 2 lean-to additions, one on each side. Interior. 5-bay frame with cart entry in 4th bay from north. Good studding with a mid rail; southernmost bay has straight plank braces against outside of studs. 2nd bay from north was originally floored: remains of one upper diamond-mullioned window. 3 bays to north have unaltered roof with clasped and butt purlins; remainder of roof is much reconstructed.
