SX 55 SE YEALMPTON HIGHER TORR 4/217 Former Torr Farmhouse

II

House formerly a farmhouse. Circa 1860. Stone rubble. Slate roof with gabled ends and three small gables to front, all with ornate pierced bargeboards and pendants.

Two storeys and attic. Three bays. Gothick two-centred arch windows. Casements with Y-tracery and leaded panes. Central stone porch with two centred arch doorway and gables with ornate bargeboards. Inner door also has two-centred arch and fanlight. Ground floor windows and doorway have hood moulds. Stone rubble chimney stacks at gable ends with diagonal brick shafts. Pointed arch windows in gable ends.
