Public House. C17 with C19 additions and alterations. Front elevation has painted brick ground floor and tile-hung first floor, gable ends painted brick in Flemish bond returned slightly round front elevation. C20 plain tile roof. 2 storeys with boxed eaves: Roof half-hipped at both ends. Gault brick stack in left hip and projecting at right end. Regular 2- window front of 3-light casements. Blocked door in centre of front elevation. C19 single-storey extension to right, painted brick with plain tile roof, tall thin gault brick stack and half-glazed door to left end. Parallel rear range in gault brick with plain tile roof half-hipped both ends. Later C19 long rear wing to left fronting lane, part flint, part gault brick in Flemish bond, with slate roof.
