A C18 timber-framed and plastered house incorporating an earlier timber-framed structure. 2 storeys and attics. 3 window range, double-hang sashes with glazing bars. A central doorway has reeded architraves and a flat cornice hood. Roof tiled, hipped, with 2 gabled dormers on the front. An early C19 wing extends at the rear.

White House, Bridge House, Bell House, Bell Cottage and The Barnardiston Arms P.H. form a group.
