5/38 Gates and gatepiers to Brodsworth Hall estate situated on west side of road to Marr approximately 650 metres to east of Hall

Gates and gatepiers. Early C19. For the Brodsworth Hall estate. Ashlar limestone, iron gates. 2 pairs of gate piers with central carriage gate flanked by side gates; concave wing walls sweep out and terminate at matching end piers.

Each pier has moulded plinth, monolithic square shaft and cornice surmounted by large ball finial. Linking walls of deeply-coursed stone with ashlar coping.

Cross-braced iron gates with central emblems.
