WEST LAVINGTON CHURCH STREET SU 05 SW (west side) 6/292 No 20 (Old Post Office) GV II House. C17 or early C18. Colourwashed brick with thatched roof.

Single storey, attic and cellar, 4 bays. Six-panelled door with architrave over three steps in second bay and secondary door in fourth bay on right. Three-light timber casement windows to ground floor and 2-light inset hollow chamfered stone windows to upper floor. Moulded string course. Lean-to extension to left and gable stack. Rear wall heightened, and rear stack added.

Interior has chamfered spine beams. Not seen.
