Road Bridge over railway, 1881-4 for Swindon and Cheltenham Extension Railway Company, Watson, Smith and Watson, general contractors. Iron girder bridge on brick abutments. Five cast- iron girders by the Phoenix Foundry Co. of Derby carrying brick jack vaults and brick abutments with wing walls carrying deep engineering brick copings. Parapet of brick replaced and abutments repaired after 1928. The best preserved monument of this railway which became the Midlands and South West Junction Railway in 1884.
