Pair of sphinxes. Circa 1700 by Nost; mid 1920s brought to Trent Park from Stowe, Bucks, by Sir Philip Sassoon. Lead statues on ashlar plinths. Corniced, stepped, plinths support statues depicting sphinxes with heads turned inwards.
