SE 34 NW KIRKBY OVERBLOW SWINDON LANE (west side, off) 6/30 Swindon Hall Farmhouse GV II

House. c1840. Coursed gritstone, graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central C20 part-glazed door in moulded Tudor arch with dripmould.

Flanking and upper floor windows all 16-pane sashes in plain surrounds, dripstones over. Deep eaves, hipped roof, end stacks. The present house replaces an earlier building which burned down early C19. H Speight, Kirkby Overblow and District, London 1903, pp 92-94.
