CASTLE STREET 1, 1594 (East Side) Nos 136 to 140 (even) SU 1450 SW 1/280C II GV 2.

Early to mid C19 group of 3 storey white brick narrow fronted houses. Low pitch gable end slate roof, eaves band. 3 Windows, small 2 light casements second floor otherwise sashes, flush framed on Nos 138 and 140, glazing bars intact No 140. No 138 has door of flush panels, others modern. Rectangular 2 pane fanlights. Pilaster doorcases with entablatures.

Nos 124 to 128 (even) and Nos 132 to 144 (even) form a group.
