9/226 Bricklands Farm House 11/6/58

GV II House, now divided. C15 with inserted stack of C16. Timber framed on brick and stone plinth with red and blue brick cladding below, tile hung above, some in fishscale pattern. Steep pitched plain tiled roof with end gablets. Rectangular multiple stack chimney to left of centre; further stack to right end. Former Hall house. 2 storeys with attic under 2 gabled casement dormers. Regular fenestration with four casements on each floor. Part glazed door to left of centre under gabled hood on brackets. Pent roof C20 brick extension to left with 1 leaded casement window and further door in rear of left hand return front. Boarded double pent roofed garage to right end.

Interior: Framing visible. C17 staircase survives.
