Row of 4 houses, comprising a terrace of 3, with a further cottage a later addition. Original building probably early C18, with later C18 addition. Coursed and squared red sandstone with stone flagged roof, the added cottage (No.6) built of a different stone. EXTERIOR AND PLAN: Nos 7 to 9 comprise the original building: 2 storey, 3-window range, with 3-light unchamfered mullioned windows to first floor, mullioned windows of 2 and 3 lights, and an inserted bow window to ground floor. Paired doors to Nos 7 to 9 with baffle entrance towards the left. Doorways all in stressed architraves the entablatures of which form simple porches. Small lean-to extension to No.9. No.6 is also 2 storey and a single unit plan, with 2-light casement window on each floor to the left of doorway in gabled porch.
