4/33 Great Westwood (formerly Westwood Farm)

GV II

House. Early C16, underbuilt in mid C18 and restored in 1968.

Timber framed with red brick cladding across the ground floor, exposed post and panel frame above with rendered infill, plain tiled roof. Two storeys. Brick plinth with brick corbel course across ground floor under a course of tiles. Large triple ridge stack to right of centre with oversailing top. Four framed bays with gabled bay to left end, curved first floor bracing to end.

Four casement windows across first floor, four below. C20 panelled door with flanking light in pentice roof porch to left of centre. Left hand return front: tile hung gable.

Interior: framing exposed, largely on the ceilings, deep brick fireplaces.
