C17 modernised. 1 storey and attic. Colour washed brick and stone with timber framed upper part. Thatch roof. Small central 3 light casement on attic level with thatch swept over. On ground floor to left hand one 3-light Cl9 casement window, with 6 pane lattice light immediately over. Plain ledged central door and small early C19 angular bay window with moulded cornice to right hand.

No 1 (Ferndale), The Post Office and Manton Weir Farmhouse for a group, with Nos 66 to 70 (consec), The Oddfelllows Arms public house and No 73.
