Mid C16 on rectangular plan. 2 storeys and attics, timber-framed and plastered with red plain tile hipped roof. Original chimney stack with grouped shafts on square base. Upper storey of south-west front projects, and there is an original doorway with 4 centred head and sunk chamfered reveals. 2 large C17 gabled dormers. 4 window range late C19 casements. Internally most of the frame remains and there are moulded beams and some original windows. Rear wing is also C16 or earlier, originally open to the roof, the 1st floor and chimney stack were inserted in mid C16. Roof rebuilt late C17. Main roof is original with side purlins and arch braces. (RCHM 37).
