CODFORD HIGH STREET, Codford St Peter ST 93 NE (south side) 7/63 Milepost opposite The Old Manse GV II Milepost. 1840. Cast-iron pillar with moulded pedimented top, raised lettering to front: SALISBURY / 14 / WARMINSTER / 7. One of a series of cast-iron mileposts and boundary posts on turnpikes radiating from Warminster, made by Carson and Miller, Warminster ironfounders c1840.
