Altered front to C17 house. Whitewasned pebbledash, old tiled roof with sprocketed eaves. 2 storeys, altered C19 shop fronts to left and centre, segmental bow shop window with glazing bars on right. Timber frame exposed on 1st floor, 4 flush windows with glazing bars.

Nos 2 to 32 (even), No 26A and Nos 1 and 2 John Street form a group.
