BRAMFORD THE STREET TM 1246 9/87 Nos. 51,53 and 55.

- - II Three houses, originally one. Mid C16 with C19 and C20 alterations. Probably of 3-cell lobby-entrance plan. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and plastered.

Plaintiled roof with axial chimneys of red brick. Various C19 and C20 small- pane casements; No.51 has a window with hinged and boarded shutter. C19 and C20 boarded entrance doors. No.51 was extended to left and underbuilt C19 in painted brick. Good unmoulded framing exposed internally. C16 or C17 open fireplaces, later altered, in Nos. 53 and 55.
