Boundary wall to south and south-east of Bishop's Lodge GV II

Garden wall with plaque. C18. Red brick with some blue brick headers. Stone coping. 5 feet high and 30 yards long. Stone plaque in wall facing south, inscribed "NEAR THIS PLACE FELL LIEUT. COLONEL SHADWELL WHO WAS SHOT TO THE THE HEART BY A DESERTER ON THE MORNING OF THE FIRST OF JUNE 1799. THE ASSASSIN WITH ANOTHER HIS COMPANION WERE IMMEDIATELY SECURED AND BROUGHT TO JUSTICE."
