Cottage. C18. Plastered cob on rubble footings; rubble stack topped with C20 brick; thatched roof. 2-room plan cottage with central entrance facing south-west set between Nos 4 and 6 Fore Street (q.v.) and with end stack serving larger left- hand (north-western) room. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window front of late C19 early C20 3-light casements with glazing bars and central door.
Interior has plain carpentry detail. Cottage is one of a row of thatch-roofed buildings in Devon, and probably the longest run in England.
