MORCHARD BISHOP SS 70 NW 4/121 - Stables adjoining to north of Rudge Farmhouse GV II

Stables. Mid C19. Rubble with brick dressings; slate roof. Stable block facing west into farm courtyard, comprising stables on the ground floor with haylofts and some service accommodation above. Gable-ended block with symmetrical 3-window front with doors and hayloft loading hatches over in between. All apertures have brick segmental arches over. The windows are shuttered and have 2-lights, each surround has chamfers with straight cut stops on all sides. Plain plank doors with overlights. 8 bay king post roof. Included for group value.
