2/106 Goose House Farmhouse - - II
Farmhouse, late C17 or early C18, altered. Brick with scored render, stone plinth and some quoins visible, roof of slates at front, stone slates at rear; one ridge chimney and one gable chimney to left.
Three-bay baffle-entry plan. Two storeys; bands to front and rear; 2-storey porch at junction of 2nd and 3rd bays, with stone seats; to the left, 2 windows on each floor, to the right glazed door and window, all altered and modern. Rear has board door left and modern windows. Interior: 2nd bay has inglenook with heck and wooden spere, and large ovolo-moulded bressummer; beams on both floors chamfered with cyma stops, with secondary beams at 1st floor; quarter-turn staircase of early C18 type at rear wall of 2nd bay; doors with fielded panels (some shouldered), large smoke hood at 1st floor.
