Late C18 front to older building. Three storeys. Red brick: Painted wood modillioned cornice. Slate reef. Two windows. The first floor windows 3-light with no glazing bars. Central early C19 half glazed door with reeded bottom panels, in C18 doorcase of bold carved scroll brackets, acanthus enrichment, with enriched bed mould broken round brackets, which rest on small carved Ionic capitals with (later?) fluted pilaster shafts of different width to capitals. The door has late C18 fanlight of central double circle and curved diamond pattern, the doorhead enriched with carved leaf motif.

one interior features of C18 date. The brick front projects below the cornice and is evidently built against the original wall face, which may be timber framed. Altered 1956, with Neo-Georgian shop front of 2 segmental bow windows.
