Cottage. Late C18/early C19 remodelling of an earlier structure. Painted render over rubblestone, pantile roof hipped to the right, where a rendered lateral stack is offset with pantiles above the eaves; brick stack to left gable end. Irregular, virtually hexagonal plan. 2 storeys; one-window range. The cottage facade slopes away from the road. C19 two-light casement windows, those to the first floor at eaves level. A central C20 door and hood has a window to the left on both floors, the obtuse-angled right return, on Church Street has one window to each floor toward the front and the lateral stack toward the rear. A single-storey lean-to to the left is included in the hexagonal plan. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached to the rear right corner is a rubblestone wall approx 3m high and 40m long.
