Description

The photographer's notes state: 'The house. South front and lime avenue going to the High St on R. from S.W'.

There is an additional note for the site stating: 'The house was demolished in Oct 1938. The stable building (mostly) & the farmbuilding demolished some years before'.

Although the photographer's notes state it is the south front that is shown, given the orientation of the house, this side of Mayfield Place is actually facing south-west.
