The photographer's notes state: 'Spring Hall. Looking S.E. across the lawn from by the house. The disued font at the further end. The tops of the two fine horse-chestnuts by Effingham Lodge just visible, left centre. The top of the Temple Congregational Ch. just visible on L'.
