The photographer's notes state: 'Looking N.N.W. into the kitchen in the W. wing from the garden hall in the S.W. extension. Great beam on brackets across the W. wing. The arcade on extreme right'.
The farmhouse at Manor Farm was located on the east side of the Orpington Bypass (now Cray Avenue), just to the south of the railway line.
