Description

The photographer's notes state: 'Left block Nos 124, 126, 128 & 130, and the right block Nos 132, 134, 136 & 138 (confusing part of "Providence Place") west side High Street, as seen from the back. The river Cray in foreground. The footbridge carrying the footpath from "Little Essex" to High Street on extreme left'.

There is an additional note stating: 'Nos 124-138 incl. were all destroyed by enemy action April 16. 1941'.

They have since been demolished.
