Description

The photographer's notes state: 'The house. The main staircase from the 1st floor landing in W. front. Looking east along the passage through the old part of the house to the steps leading up to the 1st floor rooms of the east addition'.

Twysdens was demolished in stages between 1940 and 1948 and the area which the house occupied, on the south-east side of Cray Road, is now the site of a Coca-Cola factory.
