The photographer's notes state: 'Lamorbey House. The hall and main staircase from the front door. Passage on left leading down the old east wing. The 2nd door in it opended into the dining room'.
Lamorbey House was located on the south side of Halfway Street, close to the corner with Old Farm Road East. It was demolished between 1936 and 1937.
