Description

The majority of the glass in St Michael's Church dates from the 15th century. The glass in the windows of the south aisle has been reset. In this window (s3) the panels show perhaps seven of the Nine Orders of Angels. Working clockwise from the top left of the two central lights, it is suggested that the panels show Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Powers, Virtues, Dominions, Principalities, and Thrones.
