Description

St Mary the Virgin's Church dates from the 13th century, with alterations from the 14th, 15th, 19th and 20th centuries. It is one of two churches in Stocklinch, the other being St Mary Magdalen's Church, and is also known as the 'upper' church. St Mary the Virgin's Church is no longer used for regular worship, and has been in the care of the Redundant Churches Fund, later the Churches Conservation Trust, since November 1973.
